Example, Hallman and Kelly get much less attacks than does O.
Alleva was AD with National Championships with Miles and Orgeron, yet he gets move negativity than Woody, who destroyed our basketball and football programs. I was never a fan of Alleva, just making a point.

He was a bad head coach. He would not be coming back as a head coach. He was a great D line coach and recruiter. Look how many 1st rounders he had on the D line in the past. Rumor has it that Woodard mettled and didn't let him hire who he wanted to hire. I would welcome him back as D line coach.

To be fair, it was this board who pushed Matt Canada on him. A little more due diligence on his part might have tipped him off about the personality clash but we of the Rant have to wear that one.

Interesting point. So barely literate Miles and Ed can win a NC, but the winningest coach in CFB with a Heisman QB and #1 offense one season and an elite defense another can't make a watered down playoff spot.

No one should doubt his recruiting abilities. Ed is one of the greats in this department. He was in over his head at HC, but that is on the AD for hiring him. Most of us never wanted him, but it happened and so did 2019 (so did BLM/Ryan Clark locker room divide, Sabans BLM march on campus that you all would have crucified Ed for…)
Again, I never wanted Ed, and I wanted him canned, but I look back at 2-0 vs Kirby, and Eds other accomplishments fondly and laugh. It was a good ride. Much better the arrogance of Kelly. If Lane wants Ed in some capacity who cares, its Lanes program, let him do what he wants. Its not our job to interfere. Verge told Lane to do whatever the frick he wants.

We need to see if these lifetime Orgeron haters were the same ones posting about the Brian Kelly hire about now we'll have an adult running the program, finally someone competent, all the championships he would win because dumbass O could do it once, anyone could.

He didn’t just win. He assembled and coached the best college football team in the history of the sport! Lightening in a bottle, yes, but I wouldn’t say they won in-spite of their head coach!
