Off topic, but what are your thoughts on LA Tech +23.5 @ Miss State?
Seems like an awfully big line favoring a team that has been held to 7 points or less in 3 or their last 5 games over one of the better G5 teams.
LSU is their only common opponent and LTU played significantly better in that game and only lost by 1 more point than MSU.
Thinking of driving to the MS coast while I'm in town. Am I missing something here? Seems like free money.

When LSU is 7-1, ranked #3, but is a 14 pt dog at home you don’t have to say anything more as to the difference in respect between LSU and Bama and the hill we have to climb.

Agreed. But they are deeper. Buggs gives them something extra on the DL. But as a whole our DL is better than average. Just in the minds of LSU haters and self defeatist Negatigers we are not.

Dismissal of any criticism as haters or negatigers is a cop out. In 2011 or DL 2 top 15 picks and 2 3rd rounders. 2012 I think I heard had 5 guys drafted in the top 5 rounds. Our top 2 DL this year is everyone says should come back because they won’t get drafted high. It may be better than the last couple of years but still not as good or deep as years past. I realize it’s a different scheme but still saying it’s avg is not unfair

The key to play Saban’s teams is not got rattled. It’s a 60 minute football game. It’s imperative LSU keep this game no more than a 2 possession game going into the half. If BAMA is up by 3 possessions it’s going to be tough with our offense being one dimensional. That’s what Saban wants. Keep it to 2 possessions, crowd stays in it, we hit on a couple of big plays & who knows.

Past nagging injuries is what is holding back our top 2. When healthy Our DL is still stout. Not 2011 good but good enough to win games and good enough to be part of a 7-1 team and potentially 11-1. Not cop out at all at what I said. This team has been dissed and trashed by what it is almost at a conspiratorial level. Not use in arguing here. c'ya.

Bama is going to score on our defense. The big question, imo, is how much scoring will we do on the Bama defense. That been pretty much a big question for a number of years now no matter the HC or the OC.
