You can laugh, Roger, but let’s run a hypothetical. In 20 years, do you think it’s more reasonable that we will honor a coach with multiple SEC championships and a natty, or a coach who beat an Auburn team that lost its bowl game? That’s what you’re putting your money on. Honestly, that’s silly.

I want lsu to win...dont really care if its with O or anyone else tbh.

But I have serious doubts O can get this team where I think the should go.

We actually want to win every game no matter who the HC is.

You CheeriO’s are dense.

What makes you think that I believe O will be successful? I don't expect him to be the coach in 2019, unless LSU goes 10-2

As for Miles I didn't think he should have been fired until 2016

Ok. You and I are pretty much on the same page. Apologies.

O sucks and is a major downgrade from Miles and needs to be let go ASAP

yet his first year SEC record reversed a big slide by your idol where he was losing 5 sec games a year; got completely destroyed by ole miss and Arkansas. so far, he's an improvement over miles in his last few years and that's a fact.

Yes, you’re the “level headed, objective” one.

they aren't happy because they hate all LSU coaches. when O is gone they can then hate the new guy. this is what LSU has become. they are anti-LSU.

Just curious how many of the O haters wanted Miles fired also.

If O was forward thinking, and didn't just hire his friends, and really old people, I'd have no problem with him. But he does. If we lost Aranda, who do you think we would have gotten? Answer, an old friend, emphasis on old, who was probably barely successful over a decade ago.

Exactly. That's why it's imperative that season ticket holders need to stop tickets and all donations. I don't have season tickets but I had the opportunity to return 5 LSU items given to me for Christmas. I returned those, how could I sleep at night knowing I was partly responsible for this disaster. I cannot buy any merchandise or tickets and stopped donations.

Too many people on this board think it is important to be right in relation to OTHER FANS. Thus, they can't comprehend that simply wanting LSU to be successful can be a driving force. Because that isn't THEIR driving force for being on the board.

You are correct, but that statement cuts both ways and I don't think many will admit it.

He could be the next Al Gore. Calling people out for driving big trucks and SUV's while he fly's around the world on private jets.

Why isn’t the Anti O crowd happy?
Because we love LSU and we don’t want the program to be damaged.

I believe all fans do not want the program damaged
As of to date the program has not been damaged. I am not sure a Jimbo hire with a crazy contract is the answer and at this point there is nothing in our power to change the outcome of this coming season other than cheer for the Tigers.

No one wants to labor through the next 4 seasons losing 4 games a year and if this is the trend then let the AD hire someone else.

Today is a choice. Today, choose grace over impatience, beauty over negativity, and presence over panic.

You're mentally limited if you don't get it. Nobody wants to see LSU fail or suck, which is why people complain every time an ignorant move is made. Would LSU sucking get rid of O faster? Yes. But it'd be way better if LSU succeeded, even if it means he stays. There's just no confidence he can succeed here.

Yes
9-4 season
Not championship but not a dumpster fire and damaged

A decent recruiting class but not bad, finishing around 10th overall filling needs is not a dumpster fire.

Two young talented Qb's to look forward to

A boss middle linebacker maybe the best player in the nation to lead a good defense.

Plenty to look forward to next year and if the team tanks then the people in charge can get a new coach.

I am not going to pull against the coach because I think he is a bad hire. I would not have hired the guy but also I would not have hired Jimbo with a crazy contract.
