Some of the Gumps swear he is a huge prick and hated by everyone in college basketball. I don’t know anything about him except that he can recruit and we are good again. WTH ????

Wade is a competitor, has figured out how to attract some decent talent (???), and has improved LSU basketball.
Plus, college basketball has been "under the microscope" for a decade now....and Wade has been spotted in sketchy scenarios.
I hope he makes it through, I like him as our coach.

Wade didn’t play basketball and didn’t come up through the anointed channels so the college basketball bureaucracy hates him. It’s got nothing to do with “paying players” the schools don’t even do this, the shoe companies and gambling establishments provide the cash. So another Nike school doesn’t care that Nike is paying players at LSU. It’s a personal, boys club disdain they have for Wade who’s an outsider.
