Sure within reason.

What did I say that contradicts this?

The duty does not extend to patrons intentionally causing the unsafe condition.

That is a very insurance defense position to take. Parents aren't "intentionally" creating unsafe conditions, and no court is going to deem a minor responsible for their own behavior in making out in the Union.

A public facility that opens itself up to all patrons is absolutely responsible for foreseeable dangers, including those negligently created by the patrons themselves.

Lots of people used it. Not sure how you can’t understand them closing it makes gameday worse.

Enjoy your tailgate and remember that it’ll never be as good as it was 10-15 years ago

I mean are people tailgating IN the Union?

This seems like an overreaction.

I agree. But it had nothing to do with what was open/closed on campus.

Commercial litigation, but sure.

Keep billing your $100 an hour for Geico.

Just another negative on the LSU game day experience. That's all.

Some of y’all either work at LSU or would fit in perfectly over there.

“Oh something you’ve enjoyed for decades as part of the gameday experience? We’re taking that away. Wait you have a problem with that? LOL F you.”

That’s fine. Just don’t be shocked as attendance continues to decline.

If your gameday experience revolves around hanging out at the Union, your gameday experience already sucked.

No one is saying their tailgate centered around going to the union.

It’s just another amenity taken away. Never a good thing.

Some people have definitely said that in this very thread.

It hasn't been open on gameday for a year. We all lived.

Post the same meme again now.

That seems to be the baseline for LSU brass re: tailgating

And campus is still packed. Can't sell the commercial tailgate spots fast enough. It's almost like they know what they are doing or something.

Another screw the average fan move. The Union was my go to spot for cooling off during hot early games, dropping a solid duece in peace and relative comfort, lurking on young girls, lurking on the moms of young girls and napping off my early buzz. My season is ruined

I'm honestly shocked at the semi-melting, doom & gloom over this.

i dont care about the union one way or another but closing down indoor bathrooms is always a negative. There are too few as it is.

Just piss behind that brick divider wall things with holes in it on the west side of Peabody facing the stadium. Or in the basement area around the outside of Allen.

If you go in either of those spots on gameday it smells like straight piss.
