I feel like recently we’ve had a stud for Friday, Saturday is not as good but good, and Sunday is a crapshoot

Why is it so hard for elite teams to have 3 lights out starters? Do those ace types want to be aces at other places?

Because elite pitchers don't just grow on trees

Look no further than mlb rosters, elite teams sometimes only have 2-3 legit starters. It’s why middle of the road starting pitchers make very good money. It’s hard to come by

Because really good pitchers are not common, and many really good ones don't go to college.

Very very few college teams ever have 3 ace starters. Off the top of my head I can't recall any.

Tennessee has 3 lights out first round starters. They lost the series.

I know right! Ugh!!

Why can't we just like have a really good QB, great WRs, a stud Oline, NFL RB and all Americans at every level on defense.

Ugh why is it so hard?

How many programs right now do you think have 3 legit starters? I’ll give you a hint, it’s not many

"Hey, you're a lights out starter. Want to come be our #3 instead of team X's #1?"

That's why.

Yeah typically places like Detroit Tigers, Atlanta Braves and Texas Rangers.

But I get it why can't we just find 3 guys who stay healthy who all are top 10 picks!

Dollander is gonna go top 10 and didn't make it through 4 innings Friday night just fyi

I would say the closest team with 3 outstanding starters is Tenn and their third guy just gave up 6 runs in 4 innings and got pulled after being given a 10 run lead.

And their Saturday guy didn't make it through 4.

Two years ago lsu made a super regional vs this same team and Hilliard was throwing 89 mph fastballs as the GM1 starter

In G2 when Marceaux was ran, they came out with

-Garrett Edwards when he threw 91
- will Hellmers
- Trent Vietmeir
-Jacoby hasty
- AJ Labas
- Devin Fontenot

Most of these guys would not touch the ball on this staff. It’s going to be ok baw

MLB teams struggle to have 3 legit starters

This is why it’s so awesome to see elite pitching
