But for LSU it’s a disaster according to the experts.

You do have a point here. Wisconsin replaces almost their entire starting defense and they start ranked 4th in the country

People dont believe in the coach, the QB, or the schedule.

Doesnt matter. Either prove them right or prove them wrong

I mean we just replaced our QB, top 2 RB, top 2 WR and 3/5th our OL. But we return 3 runningbacks with a combined 92 carries.

So yeah why are they picking on us?

They also went 13-1 and 9-0 in the Big Ten last year.

I don't get it either. It's gotta be the coaching staff.

No offense to last year's team, but the group of guys we lost was probably the least talented group that I can remember, as evidenced by the NFL draft. With the exception of Guice, Clapp and possibly Jackson, the "new guys" are equally, or more talented than the outgoing guys.

I think you do get it. O and Ensminger haven't earned the benefit of the doubt. Yet. We comin'

why do people care so much about what the "experts" think? They don't know any more than we do, and actually know less.

Just wait until the games are played - then we'll all know the answers. All this guessing before a single game is played is just exhausting.

This has been an issue with the "experts" for a while now. Even when were pulling in top 5 recruiting classes regularly. We were always penalized more for having to replace guys than other schools were. And we were still sending more guys to the NFL than everyone else.

Because in the past we’ve lacked depth and experience.

Don’t see that as the case this year. Don’t believe everything you hear.

It’s more like 2/5 since Weathersby missed most of last season with injuries.

99% this

The other 1% is the schedule and it being basically right up there with toughest in the country. When you combine questions around coaches (Orgeron, Ensminger), with a lot of new faces (offense) an entirely new scheme on offense and finally play Miami, Alabama, Auburn, Georgia, MSU, etc...people are going to be down on you. Going to have to prove it first.

The whole country thinks Orgeron is a joke. It’s how he talks. It’s his time at Ole Miss. it’s his reputation in recruiting for years. We could win it all and people would still feel that way. So we won’t get respect until we beat teams like Bama.
