LSU's leading podcaster is so far up Woodward's butt he knows what his wisdom teeth look like.

Sark wasn’t a good hire at Washington. He was 34-29 and didn’t sniff a natty or conference championship.

Did you eat paint chips as a kid? Sark inherited a god awful program that was lower than low going 0-12 before he got there. He did well enough that USC came and stole him away. He would have been great there if not for his drinking. Sark was a solid hire at UW

Is there really “push back” or is this another strawman?

At that time, USC was hiring Pete Carroll’s guys — that’s the only reason Sark got that job. Chris Petersen, on the other hand, restored Washington to the level Don James once had that program at — Sark never did that. And let’s be honest: Sark’s struggles weren’t just about football. He was an active alcoholic while at Washington, which kept him from ever reaching his potential. His alcoholism at both Washington and USC doesn’t excuse his failures — it defines them.

It’s probably another strawman. There’s not much genuine “pushback” — just people who don’t want to admit Woodward made a massive mistake with Kelly’s contract. Some fans are confusing accountability with negativity. Holding an AD responsible for a $100 million misfire isn’t “pushback,” it’s just common sense.

What AD has gotten it right 100% it the time?

Everything he's touched in football/basketball has turned to shite

Horrible extension for orgeron
Horrible contract for Kelly and failed to do proper due diligence
Horrible selection in McMahon
In bed with scandal ridden developer for the basketball arena

I don't really care if he missing every now and again because the dude is ok with setting his sights on the biggest coaches who we wouldn't even think are on the radar and he signs them. I know BK didn't work but Woodward went to Notre Dame and said my shite is better than this. That's what I like! We are LSU and he isn't afraid to look for the biggest baddest and say I can get that. Dudes got balls!

ND offered BK a 3 or 4 year contract. Woody offered BK a 10 year, 100 million dollar guaranteed contract. Woody is a dummy who is terrible at his job.

Joe alleva was so incredibly bad.

Scott Woodward has aligned boosters and funds like never before. We are structurally and fiscally setup for athletic success in the NIL day and age with top level coaches in almost every sport and basketball has a plan for the future.

If possible who do you think has a better chance at getting Nick Saban to come back to LSU? Scott Woodward or Joe Alleva?

Trust me, Woodward is up on the chopping block. He f'd up with Jimbo, Will Wade, O, and now BK. Let the dust settle from this implosion and i guarantee he will be the next to go, followed by McMahon.

Will Wade will be back at LSU in 2-3 years assuming his buyout at NC state isnt' too high.

Seems like the people defending SW are more upset with Landry’s involvement, not because they think SW is great. Probably stems from a R vs D mindset. Political affiliation dictates everyone’s outlook on every decision nowadays

We were WAY BEHIND in NIL.

Scott was playing checkers while other athletic departments were playing chess. Our collective was WAY behind schools with far less resources like Ole Miss.

If you are going to defend Scott NIL is not the route you want to go.

Give it a rest

The fricking man took over for a clown show in Alleva who was so incompetent in hiring coaches that he got embarrassed on national TV when Herman left him at the alter—so he made the biggest knee jerk hire of all time by elevating Orgeron as if he had done his due diligence

Woodward comes in and actually operates like a real athletic director with his search process and lures a big fish to LSU.

It happens to not work out, so now LSU fans want to be Monday morning QBs about the process.

Stop the criticism for an aggressive AD. LSU deserves guys who can raise the money to get the best, rather than take on more risk by elevating the Billy Napiers of the world. I will never understand the idiots who use hindsight to undermine other those who try and bring the best to LSU.
