Can’t blame the coach for not being a good coach? This is a special kind of stupid take.

After that post I’m sure you stuck with Les Miles right to the end-and are probably still riding around in your car with a mask on

Sure, pal. That's why Skip Bertman took LSU from perennial dumpster fire, to the top program in America and won 5 titles in 10 years. He just happened to coach LSU at the luckiest possible time, I guess.
I'll agree that baseball coaches have the LEAST impact on results, compared to coaches in other sports, but they can and do still have a significant impact. Some of that has been mitigated with the stupid scholarship limitations and having schools like Vanderbilt taking advantage of the ability to manipulate the rules. But this program has no excuse to be mediocre. Coaches have to develop players. That's not happening at an acceptable level for LSU. Coaches also have to know how to manage a roster and get the best players on the field. Our coach plays "hunches", and often even admits to it. Playing a hunch is ok once in a while. Stuff like the Hellmers experiment at third base was like swinging blind folded at a pinata and hoping the right lineup would fall out.

dumbest take ever. Glen Cecchini at Barbe will go down as the greatest high school baseball coach in history but it has ZERO to do with him lol.

You are correct. That is why LSU baseball was so good prior to Skip Bertman arriving in town.

Nick Saban has zero effect on how Alabama does.

This is that same stupid fricking point that you all were trying to make with Les Miles.
"It's not the coach! It's the players not executing!"
Now it's with Paul Mainieri.

You mame are clueless. PM choose those players and they aren't getting it done because he is not able to get the maximum results from those players.

One of the biggest complaints this board has is the fact that CPM doesn’t recruit
If you have an issue with recruiting blame Cain

I guess Skip Bertman was just one lucky son of a bugger.

Because he’s the coach. Y’all called for Miles head when he lost games why not PM

Who says I can't recruit? Give me a 5 year prove it deal with a nice buyout.
