Well apparently they are not stealing everyone’s calls on offense now so makes your wonder who good their defense ever was. We know it’s a big deal as Michigan won a natty doing it.
That said I think they deserve to be considered a contender until proven otherwise

100% agree, but even if it didn't it bothers me how many are willing to run from a good fight. I just can't get into the "it's not fair so we need water down our schedule just in case" mentality. And i'll never be able to.

Your analysis is fine, but they do have 3 players projected to go top10 in next year's draft. The also have experience at most positions. They deserve pre-season hype. The actual games will sort it out.
