Why don’t we talk about Huey P. Long more?

Considering how much he did for our University and specifically our athletic department, it’s a bit surprising that we don’t talk about him more. What’s your opinion on him and the legacy he left for our state?

His lawyer was my grandfather... Jay minos Simon... My mom's dad. Her name was Michelle Simon. Pronounced see-mone. Hundred percent French he was. Relatives in nice, France...yet coonass he was. Most famous lawyer in the South for years... Corrupt as frick I'm sure

He's the one that got his brother out of the insane asylum if I remember correctly.. his son has the same name .. My uncle. Also a lawyer
