Every team starts 0-0 in each series of the NBA playoffs. Should they reseed after each round?

If D1 baseball started the season with 1 east and 1 west conference then I'd understand your analogy. but they don't so it's retarded

Seeding baseball is 10 times harder than seeding football or basketball. Obviously this year and many before, usually around half of the top 8 seeds make it to Omaha.

In my opinion, for this reason, reseeding should occur to get the best matchups in the finals. If the bracket is lopsided with talent, you are not putting the best matchup for the finals.

Why is so many people complaining about playing Arkie in game 1? We’ve already seen their arms, we’re playing in a bigger park so the long ball won’t be as big of a factor for their offense, and let’s go ahead and put our biggest competition on our side of the field into the losers bracket early. We have to beat them eventually to win it all anyways. Make them squirm.

I'm taking about the seeding within the conference.

Again...if D1 baseball started out with 1 east and 1 west conference I'd understand your analogy but they don't...so it's still retarded no matter how many times you ask

What do conferences have to do with anything? You are saying that they should be reseeded because each team has a 0-0 record. That is your reasoning. The same is true about the NBA playoffs.

All seeding that needs to be done for the entire tournament has already been done. They take into account matchups, strength of schedule, season results..everything. Reseeding to try and manipulate matchups is dumb. Let the full bracket play out.

I’m glad they don’t. If you beat the 1, you should get the 1.

It's really not that lopsided. Three ones and a 2/4 on one side vs. two ones and a 2 and a 3 on the other. If Murray St. wins tonight the sum of all the seeds on both sides will be exactly the same.

It also means that we will be going against one of the best lefties in the country....not good for us

By the same token Arkansas has to face off against an equally strong team. Just win

If we were matched up with Murray St. not a single person would be crying about reseeding

This is the correct answer

are your takes on every board on this website as bad as they are here and on the PT? What board would you say you have the best upvote/downvote ratio on?

(soccer board doesn’t count)

It’s not football. And you get another shot if you lose. It’s not about being tough, it’s about playing the schedule and the set up.

The tournament starts at regionals. What if basketball did that in the elite 8? Would be weird as shite.

baseball isn't seeded 1-64 like basketball
