Why does O get a free pass, but Coach Pelini gets roasted here?

With all due respect, why? The offense scored 3 points in 3 quarters? How is that not on O?
The exodus of players on defense ... how is that not on O?
For a variety of reasons (including coaching as a minor issue), the defense has had issues. Most relate to morale. But, since it is a lack of morale across the board, it falls on O not Coach Pelini.
It seems to me that the O fans are using Coach Pelini as a scapegoat to deflect just criticism against O.

O was the head coach last year of the greatest college football team of all time, Pelini was not here.

Outside of the Auburn game our offense has been L.I.T. With exception to one games 3rd down conv rate and one goal line failure. Special teams? Don't get me started. Balling out. The gaping whole is where LSU's pride is suppose to lie. Defense. Pelini!? Gone.

I do not think he is getting a pass anymore by most. We owe him a lot a money so we are stuck with him for a longer time than we are stuck with Pelini. This is O's mess to clean up. If not, he is gone when it makes financial sense.

Simple. The offense only struggled in 1 game when they had a true freshman QB on the road in Auburn. The defense has been truly terrible all year long. If LSU has the second worst LSU defense ever this year, they wold be 4-1. Pelini makes 2.3 mill a season and right now, his defense is the worst that we have ever seen. Coach O won a national title 10 moths ago, Pelini hasn’t done shite for us in a very long time.

I don't think he's getting a pass. He's the HC and ultimately it's on him.
That being said, what's happening with the D is a major problem between Pelini and the players. Considering the rest of the D assistants were here last year, I also wonder what's going on between Pelini and the assistants.

Cuz Pelini has you in his corner which means he is equivalent to Johnny Jones and sucks at his job.
