So you're mad that the players aren't mad? Does your mother know you're posting online?

Put it this way, it’s like you are working at one place and meet friends and u leave and go work for another company. You will probably still be friends with those same people. The company might not like it, but the employees probably doesn’t care.

But why, if you still work for the company that employee left, would you still be friendly with the guy whose new company is doing whatever they can 24/7/365 to put you out of business.

“Go be great bro!”

“Get that bag!”

Lol. Nah, you wanna transfer then transfer. You wanna transfer to a division rival who has been top dog for a decade plus? frick out of here. Be great my arse. Using O’s firing as an excuse was all i needed to hear to know Ricks is more of a bum than his weak arse shoulder. It’s fine to stay friends with a guy who pulls such a bitchmade move (if you want) but you won’t find me gassing them up on social media

Pretty sure McGlothern said something about it right before he left. And yea he went to Arkansas but they’re Arkansas and the circumstances around his departure were quite different.

Players are there for 3 years in their mind and then never again. How many ex players come back and go to games as a fan? Not many. It’s not the same for them. It’s a stepping stone to their next step only. I’m sure they wanna win but they don’t have any sense of rivalry with anyone anymore.

I want the LSU players that are hell bent on bitch slapping every opponent and calling out opposing coaches. If you don't respect your school, go play division 3 somewhere else.

Remember, when Ricks left the program was a complete train wreck and Ed have the entire team looking after their own interests first.

This is true. But what I remember most is when Rick got "injured", never to return, the pass defense got better. You can still be friendly with a guy and want to kick his teeth in every time you meet.

Did Stingley transfer to Alabama?

I would imagine the coaches tell them "if you don't have anything good to say, say nothing at all".

The issue being by openly saying bad things about any departing player you risk causing division in your own locker room

Look at it this way... if someone says something bad about Ricks (regarding transferring) 90% might agree, but the other 10% are now pissed off at the 90%.

Best not let a former player affect your current players in such a way.

Hate is for fans. And I say hate away. But while on the team, you do nothing to damage the team.

Do you hate people you used to work with who went to a competitor? What you can't get through your head is that they're doing it for money. Somehow fans seem to convince themselves that they are in a family of sorts with Saints players or Pelican players. They don't give a crap about you. Look at the way they jump from team to team. College ball used to be different, but it's pro ball also now.

If you want loyalty and rivalry that's not fake go watch high school ball. That's the only real deal anymore.

The hatred for ex teammates that play for another team has been dead for many years. Everybody loves everybody now.

Do some of y’all actually have real lives?

I’ve had coworkers leave for direct competitors all the time. There is never any friendship lost at all

Seriously who are you people?

Damn, your friends work a whole lot harder than mine. We just kinda work a bit, bullshite a bit, work a bit, make a good living, hell, sometimes we dont want the work and refer it to our padnah over at the other company. And we definitely take nights, weekends and holidays off to bullshite together.
