Because unlike JD, Howard is not afraid to throw to receivers through a tight window every now and then. If a receiver isn’t wide arse open, JD overlooks what should be an option and sits in the pocket for seconds at a time. Befuddled as a mf. Howard is the opposite of that.

I was at every one of his HS football games…freshman, JV, and varsity. What do you want to know?
The kid’s a stud. He’s fast, accurate, has a quick release, can make damn near any throw on the run from any body angle, and has a rocket for an arm.
He’s pretty good.
ETA: he was good enough to go to ND and get BK to come to LSU.

He may. I think some will depends on if he sees the field at all during the SECCG or the bowl game we go to.
I also think the have time under his belt in the program now and seeing the field at least short-term vs Southern (I think it was Southern) put him in a much better position than being a true freshman.
Only time will tell.

I can take Jayden another year, but Howard is the real deal 5* Alabama QB commit was his back up for a few years and then transferred. The reason LSU never had a chance with Eli Holstein.

I don’t mean to be a Debbie downer but for every throw on walker Howard’s highlight tapes, he only goes through his first progression. He might very well be a great LSU QB in time, but I’ll hold my breath until we see him with WRs covered and defenders in his face. SEC play is brutal
