These are the same people calling for Arandas head early this season

Those people throw Aranda under the bus every time we give up a first down.

I didn't mind Canada, offense just is shite when your QB can't make passes consistently

Any offense not dedicated to the run will be, under that scenario. We saw under Miles that even with Fournette and an experienced O line, you're not going to beat Alabama being one-dimensional.

Now my major criticism of Canada is playcalls in the redzone.

major criticism early on. I do think that is a product of implementing a brand new scheme (which we will see again next year ).

There was a brilliant call late, I think against A&M; shovel pass option to the TE. Plays like that come when people are more comfortable in the overall scheme.

His offense has under produced, and I don’t like that he only uses five plays and we are soft in the running game. True pro style modeled after the Steelers app s what we need.

to be fair there were numerous missed TD connections because of lack of execution on our QB & WR's. Upwards of 10 missed TDs.

process over results

I hope he remains our OC but I’m not naive like many here to simply blame everything on O

So O is hired as HC, states that he will bring in top coordinators. The Kiffin fantasy dies and he hires Matt Canada, a hit name that was the only offensive coach that was a Broyles award finalist but who had a rep as being hard to work with, he was fired from NCSU after a good season. Now less than a year later O is ready to fire him, actually apparently wanted to fire him 4-5 games into the season and not because the offense “under preformed”. How is that not Orgeron’s fault?

How many other coaches are we losing? It appears to me Canada got his feelings hurt when I said we are going with DE over MB...really don’t get how any of you can see it the other way. There is no reason for O to want Canada gone unless he threw a hissy fit and couldn’t get over being over ruled by his BOSS...do any of you have real jobs? If a subordinate can’t follow the bosses orders they don’t last somewhere they either get their feelings hurt and throw a hissy fit (seems to be the case here) or they get over it and move on.

There were serious questions about whether O was qualified for this job. Making good hires will be critical to his success. Offense was a major problem for the previous coach and O as a Defensive coach makes the OC even more important. It was his first major decision as HC and it appears he blew it. His other big hires. Robinson, Joseph, Meatball are a mixed bag at best.

At the end of the day if the subordinates does a bad job that reflects on the guy doing the hiring

Until the AD calls him in to an emergency meeting. I believe Joe had the last say in that one.

This is the dumbest Rant rumor ever. You really think he'd still be a coach at LSU and not fired yet if he was telling recruits not to go to LSU?
