I live in Cypress, Tx. I have a number of friends that Coached, Graduated and Played at aTm. They are really good folks. Some coached at LSU. I'm invited to a large tailgate party at every home game. But then again, I'm friends with a number of folks that have some association with most of the SEC Schools.

Why?

EDIT: You would think Jimbo could have at least sprung for the correct color shirt for his nephew to wear to an ATM football game. Looks like Razorback red to me.

Texas A&M has 3 football victories over LSU in the last 30 years of football. Such an intense rivalry.

Historically, LSU has the better football program, baseball program, and basketball program.

There is no rivalry. They are not on LSU’s level.

A&M’s rival is Texas.

LSU’s is Bama, Ole Miss, Auburn, and Florida.

I HATE UT.....everyone should. They just poached A&M's coach with their oil money. They Are Alabama WITH money and a few more teeth.

I don't necessarily hate 8&4 . They are just goofballs.

Because the bullshite 72-74 game and the after game antics by the Aggies coaching staff and Jimbo's **** nephew is why.

Wow, twenty years earlier in 1966, I attended my first ever game at Tiger Stadium against A&M, I still remember the score, 7-7 tie...

You missed the part about when they built a special score board for the dead dogs because their ‘view’ was blocked by a stadium expansion.

I hate them immensely, and my hate trumps your confusion on why. If you like them then I hate you.

Couple of specific things that I thought were well over the line but didn't involve LSU.

1) the pretend soldiers, i.e. the cadets, went after SMU cheerleaders one time literally with their sabres because they supposedly were some place they weren't supposed to be on the field. After that, those sabres were restricted from the field.

2) and amusing. That great band, the Rice Marching Owl Band, aka the MOB, once created a giant fire hydrant while performing at halftime in a game at College Station. The band literally had to wait hours after the game to leave because those Texas A&M Aggies have 0 sense of humor apparently standing up for the honor of their Collie mascot.
