Because they do. If you critically look back over the years, if we weren’t screwed for some reason or other, we would have decades of consecutive national championships. It’s not ‘rocket surgery’

But seriously, frick Brian Kelly. He drives a Tesla, He is a Democrat and he is grossly overpaid. He is not a great recruiter either.
Based on the 2 games we can compare from last season, we have regressed in year 2 under kelly, particularlyon defense.
2022 - 3 point loss to FSU
2023 - 21 point loss to FSU
And:
2022 - defensive slugfest at Arkansas, very little offense.
2023 - offensive shootout, defense couldn't stop anything.
Seriously man, Stevie wonder could see this.

That being said, I'm not thrilled with some of Kelly's coaching decisions, game management and "Miles Like" ego/stubbornness.
I also think that some of his Assistant Coaches are not LSU/SEC caliber and fall into the "Bad Hire" category. (Defensive Secondary is obvious)
OK, for 2024 get Ron Cooper back in here to coach Cornerbacks (He's currently the Head Coach at Long Island University) and Bill "I brought Joe Burrow to LSU" Busch to coach Safeties. (Currently Special Teams Coordinator at Nebraska)
It's still early, but we've already seen "Tepper Like" dysfunction out of DC Matt House.

I think the bitching was more about 31-31 after 59 minutes of play, not that we were not up by triple digits.
And there is nothing wrong with not being satisfied with that performance against this Arkansas team, if you expect to be a playoff contender that is. If you don’t then sure, it’s completely normal to squeak out a win at home against and unranked Arkansas
