Maybe Simmons was not happy about losing his job due to injury and did not want to come with the coach that made that decision - it was the right decision......but I'm sure Simmons don't think so.

I think Kiffin wanted a big splash dual threat QB….Simmons is not mobile and didn’t look great under pressure

There were either some read between the lines if not overt comments coming out of the Simmons camp shading on LK a bit, though they did say "no hard feelings", I got a little different vibe.
