Bad QB? Bad system? Bad coaching? You figure Brady would’ve known what to do with him. Just 17 catches all year.

All their receiving options had bad years because the QBs sucked and locked in on #1 WR DJ Moore. Their #2 Robby Anderson went from 1000 yds to 500.

Sucks that Carolina jumped the saints to draft him. We could have used him this year.

This is true. Jefferson and Chase are exceptions to the rule. Usually you'll see some flashes but not the type of consistency they have shown.

No teams do this, but some goofy fans think it’s a thing.

If you don’t think corporations in general do this then I’m not sure what to tell you. If you have two options, and option A helps your organization, and option B helps your organization while hurting an opposing organization, any competent manager is going with option B, and that goes for draft/recruiting strategy as well. The fact that some of y’all think that’s a conspiracy theory is hilarious, you need to get out more lol

Bad QB play was 75% of the issue. The other 25% was health throughout the season.

He played a lot of downs.

Cousins or Burrow would have found ways to get him the ball more.

I run a corporation that has well over $100 million in sales. I have never seen our company, or any other, hire someone to “keep him away” from another. We recruit rainmakers from other companies, but we do it to profit from it, not to damage another company.
