Why did Brian Kelly let go of Tommy Moffitt?

If your own guy has never coached in the SEC and doesnt have 3 titles spanning multiple HC hires… then yes I would say it is unreasonable.

It may not have been that high, but definitely a lot on the board we’re questioning strength and conditioning. Plenty of people here were questioning Moffitt

Some of you don’t have a clue.When a new coach come into a dumster fire, to show that there is new sherif in town you clean house.How many coaches did Nick keep.Look BK has dropped the ball but don’t criticize him for doing what 99% of coaches would have done.

Kids tended to add mass and lose speed/agility.
He would puke at our lack of physicality…

Because whatever Moffitt was doing at LSU was not working anymore. It’s not like schools were throwing money at him once he was let go. He didn’t go to A&M until 3 years later and it’s not unheard of for a coach to reinvent himself after taking a few years off. The mistake Kelly made was not hiring a good replacement.
