Someone isn't familiar with the criminal justice system. That shite drags on forever in most cases, even for simple shite--which this one isn't.

I'll go way out on a limb and say that honor goes to the East Asians. Every war ever fought over there has millions of deaths.

That was the charge when LSU applied suspension.

That charge was dismissed in April of 2024 by the grand jury. He is currently charged with illegal use of a weapon and aggravated criminal damage to property.

I understand why LSU did it and why he would still be suspended from football at LSU with a pending felony case. What I fail to understand is why people like you keep acting like he is still charged with attempted second-degree murder. And your excuse is nonsense in the context of your statement.

LSU doesn’t make it habit of allowing accused attempted manslaughter/ murder players play, until they get there shite cleaned up. Apparently Southern doesn’t give a shite.

If you had stopped at the first statement, you could have passed of your excuse, but why would Southern care about an attempted murder charge that was dropped? Just admit you posted the wrong charge.

we can go with the fact he's innocent as of this moment and is only being accused of a crime.

correct, he's innocent until proven guilty.

so whatever school he's playing for has to ask themselves a question:

"Will this player have big enough impact to offset the backlash that would come with letting him play?"

At LSU, because of the bigger spotlight, there will also be more backlash than at a small school.
But also at LSU, the depth of talent is greater making his overall impact potentially less than it would be at a smaller school.

At Southern, you're basically flying under the radar, so backlash will be minimal.
And also, because you don't have near the talent levels that LSU does, he will potentially be the best player on the team immediately.

So for Southern it's almost a no-brainer to let him play.
The reward outweighs the risk.

At LSU, it's not so clear cut that the reward for playing him will be that much greater than if you don't play him.

I grew up in Farmerville & went to the same high school. They have kept this investigation pretty close to the vest & I can’t get any dirt on if he actually fired any shots but the star witness against Holley was arrested in Ruston recently for drug possession & slew of charges.

This is sad on another level as Trey Holley up until this incident has been nothing but a good kid who was never in any trouble & never had one incident despite being surrounded by not the best family life.

Or instead of being a racist PoS

I'm not the one killing blacks. Not my fault they do it to each other and not enough people care enough to make an effort to fix it. Too many people think it's racist to even acknowledge it's an issue so it'll never be resolved

That's fair enough, but no SEC school is going to risk their reputation on that. SWAC fans don't care

I honestly believe that there is an agreement between Southern and LSU for them to be a placeholder for LSU until all the legal stuff is behind him, if it gets behind him.

Comparing LSU athletes to slaves is pretty disrespectful to the memory of those who suffered through slavery.
This roster is going to earn over $15M this year (paid by revenue generated from fan support and booster donations) and get all the benefits of some of the top facilities in the country to help them make even more money in the NFL down the road. They also get a free education. You think slaves were even taught how to read?
