That’s insane. Wonder if Few wouldn’t jump at an opportunity at UNC or Indiana. Have to think NIL and revenue sharing is not helping him at Gonzaga. Plus St. Mary’s has become very competitive in that league.

I think he loves it there. During Covid he took a huge pay cut (2.7 to 1.9) to help the program. I don’t think he’ll ever leave.

If he isn’t we’re in big trouble. With the landscape of college sports funneling everything to the SEC and Big 10 our league is becoming the premier spot in all sports. If we continue to regress while the rest of the league blows past us we’ll never catch up.

Why ? Cause Lsu does not have a whole lot of money to fire him.
They need a new basketball arena, zlsu is not off the hook with a mediocre coach by name of Brian Kelly which still about 68 million or so left to pay him. Need to pay other renovations on campus as well.

I’m not campaigning for mediocrity. As big of a basketball fan as I am, it really bothers me. I was giving a different perspective that might be the reason we are making some of the decisions, but yet everyone on here refuses to see another perspective and get emotionally tied to just one opinion.

I wouldn’t care if they fired him. He hasn’t earned another year, but don’t ignore the possible reason(s) why they might want to keep him around.

All of that is false? Interesting. I have nothing to prove to this game, or for anyone else. Another perspective is not my opinion. I’ve already stated I’m fine with them firing him. It’s inexcusable.

Expecting a team in the sec to compete while spending in the bottom 5 requires a much better coach than McMahon & simply isn’t a recipe for success.
