This is why basketball sucks. Points don't matter anymore. They just keep scoring. It's like watching the old big 12 football. The TDs felt meaningless because you knew there were 5 more coming that day from each team. Basketball is now like watching ping pong but with squeaky shoes the whole time

Defense makes the game better. Runs are more meaningful in baseball because there's so few of them

I can enjoy softball, but every other woman’s sport is terrible to watch. Would rather watch literally anything else.

If you are true sports lover and a fan of LSU you wouldn't say negative comments. You don't have to watch it but you don't have to be negative. When the gymnastics team won the natty I watched because LSU was involved and it's just about competing.

To each their own, but I enjoy the hell out of watching them. Great talent and a great team. Sure fills a hole in LSU sports after football.

Wbb has pretty much been packed every game .. fans on their feet constantly.. fast break club ( wbb booster ) has around 500 members.. every meet and greet with team packed.

Team/coach meet and greet lunches at the hotel packed.. usually sold out.. auctions always do well..a few mega boosters always there if coaches need something ( you have heard their names).. they have a pretty solid following..

Women’s gymnastics sold out at every meet.. women’s indoor volleyball has a decent showing.. bottom sections have fans in audience.. beach volleyball draws fans.. fun to chill and listen to music and watch.. women’s softball has a following.. other women’s teams get about the same draw as the men’s..

Lady tigers get support…. But nationally.. yeah not as much

Why can I picture you standing in the kitchen where your wife beater white T-Tank Top with mustard stains on it with a half eaten hotdog hanging out of your mouth

I love all LSU sports. The women's basketball is actually more fun to watch than the men's. They're more competitive that's for sure to me. That was just a stupid statement.

I think it's partly due to the utter failure of the men's team. CKM and women's basketball is making MBB look like fools. That never happened during the solid WBB runs of Sue Gunter, Pokey Chatman and Van Chancellor, because in that era MBB put a decent product on the court.

I used to, but as usual women are ruled by emotions and not logic and think their opinions must be known.

Angel Reese was a college superstar in college. The talent pool just isn’t there for it to be entertaining sports

why do you have to get personal?

I wasn’t the poster you’re talking about, but i also find women’s basketball unwatchable. And i’ve tried many times, because i have two daughters and one goes to USCe.

But I’m sorry, the women’s game is very tough to watch. It just is.

LSU women’s is continuing to be elite yet nobody seems to care

They draw big crowds every home game and as a whole ncaa women’s basketball is more popular than any other collegiate sport besides football and men’s basketball.

Who says they aren't... Tigerdroppings???

If you watch a game and see the PMAC packed for a WBB game... that's all you need to know.

This place would rather shite on any sport outside of football, that to show support and the posters here don't mind posting thrash about a sport that they say they don't follow.

I don't follow a lot of LSU sports, like tennis or whichever, but I don't take to TD and talk thrash about those sports.

This is unfortunately very true.
Love LSU and root for all things LSU. Love Kim Mulkey; she is a great coach.

I do watch LSU WBB, but I can only stand to watch because it’s LSU. Even then it’s kinda difficult. It’s nothing personal. It’s not “hating.”To each his own, I suppose, but I’d be willing to bet that many feel the same.

Long range shooting and passing is fun solid basketball but anything involving rebounds, blocks, layups, post ups….. is hilarious and it is not longer basketball

I want LSU to win everything they are involved with. Part or a lot of the problem is that all of the women’s sports are subsidized. Why? Because there is an insufficient market interest to justify the cost. Just the facts. It’s the same with any government subsidy like electric cars, ethanol, etc.

If the people who love the sports would put their wallets where their mouths are the sports may be more legitimate. They won’t and the sports aren’t going to be given the respect the OP wants.

We especially don’t want to hear the whining and opinions of these “stars” when in reality they are glorified children each given a trophy for participation.

So play the games, lose the money, get your college paid for, be coddled a bit and shut up.

Coach Mulkey needs to remind her team to leave their political opinions out of WBB Sports. That nasty comment she (won't say who) made about Charlie Kirk did NOT set well with many LSU fans. Unfortunately, the entire excellent LSU WBB team got painted with the same brush because of the foul mouthed comments of one player.
