The facts are 3-21 at Ole Miss in the sec and 1-5 vs "good teams" at USC and LSU.

Nobody is ignoring it now. I'm certainly not. But it's irrelevant. Completely, utterly, totally irrelevant to what is happening at LSU in 2017.

The last 2 weeks we have looked an awful lot like those Ole Miss teams. I'd say that makes it very relevant.

[quote]Even if we take all of that in as valid commentary, why wouldn't we call up Curley Hallman, Howard Schnellenberger, or Larry Coker? Orgeron's not even the best failed coach we could've gotten.[/quote
Great comment.

Why would we any want to listen to you ? He did a good job at Usc and knocking our head coach is suicide when you are a fan ,I bet you are a MIles hater too , what did that get us ? when you have something constructive come back see us !

Sports is most likely the easiest way to judge success. Wins and losses. And O wasn't successful at Ole Miss with a 3 year sampling. He won one game at USC that was impressive. He was 1-2 vs good teams. At lsu he is 1-3 vs good teams. So even if he has "learned from mistakes" and got better he goes from bad to mediocre. Name one coach with a record that bad in any sport who beacame a championship coach?

Because Cutcliffe left the cubbard bare, and coach O recruited enough talent for Nutt to succeed, somewhat in his first two years.
That was one of the advantages of taking a "chance" on Orgeron. He would probably out-recruit any other coach and leave you with talent if things don't work out.

In hindsight, rebuilding Ole Miss in 2003 when LSU and other SEC programs were becoming national powerhouses seems like a doomed effort.

Dear Sweet 6 lb 8 oz baby jesus,

Please let us just get through the next few weeks of football so we don't have to constantly deal with these stupid threads anymore.

Thank You,

Signed fans who just want watch the outcome of the games

Why are you posting (a lot, I might add) on an LSU message board if you juust want to watch the outcome of the games?

It adds a negative to the pro-o agenda. They can't accept that.

totally incorrect solely an assumption

it is the absolute best measurable available, when keeping emotions in check. Show me another measurable that is better than checking past performance, for the exact same position.

How about current performance as official head coach, 4-1. But then, that wouldn't fit the agenda

it fits just fine and I'll give you overall record thus far

hopefully you continue to be right

but you can't tell me getting boatraced by a bad MSU team and squeaking by a terrible Syracuse team = trending in the right direction

and please don't respond telling me MSU is good, because they aren't.
