Why are people acting like Daniels has been named the starter?

1. WWL is never a reliable source for anything. No other media or coaching personnel has come out and named Daniels the starter.
2. Nuss was getting as many, if not more 1st team reps as Daniels before his injury. Now that's he's been hurt, ofcourse Daniels has been getting the first team reps. That's out of necessity.
3. Nuss will be right back on the field any day now, if he isn't already.
All we've learned today is the Brennan was behind these two, which we basically all already knew just from reading the tea leaves. We still don't have a starter yet.
When BK names a starter, everyone will be reporting it. Until then, stop accepting WWL, of all outlets, as gospel.

You’re gonna get a bunch of smug dumbass comments, but I feel the same way. I know it’s hard for people to grasp, but you can actually be 100% neutral on the QB race and still take WWL’s comments today with a giant grain of salt. I’ll wait till Brian Kelly actually confirms something.

That’s a fair point. It is probably best we take it straight from BK’s press conference instead of hearsay….but this is the rant you know.

Wrote this off as clickbait the second I saw it. WWL has never been friendly with LSU and Garic certainly does not have the clout to be getting intel from BK’s war room before other sources. It’s more likely they know someone in the Brennan camp

He’s a hardcore nuss guy. Made an account a few months ago and has been pushing nuss ever since.
