I'm unhappy with the state of the LSU football ball team because I CHOOSE to open my eyes. So suck it.

Glad you re-posted that, cause I missed it the first time.
Good stuff, and I agree

Why are LSU fans so angry?
Because there's a distinct difference between losing because you're not good enough or you met your match and losing as a result of ineptitude.
And, while I do think coaching blunders were made in each loss this year, I don't blame either loss on the coaching staff. However, I have in past years, and I totally get other people's frustrations.

It feels really good to see someone other that the rational ones here on the rant calling the tards out. As I've been saying for a long time, some of you need to find another team to cheer for, because you're not truly LSU fans.

There are tons of things that I find enjoyment in. there are lots of things that make me happy, losing to ole miss isn't one of them. Sorry I'm a passionate fan. Passionate fans are a big part of what's made LSU a great place to play and watch football. I'm the guy in the stands making noise that gets the opposing teams o-line to false start. I'm the guy that screams go tigers after each first down. I'm the guy that makes the earth shake when we score the winning touchdown so I sorry if I can't just not give a shite about losing to ole miss.

See this is my point. We went to UGA and flat out got beat by a good team. Were they the better team? That day they were. Maybe we would have won that game 6 out of 10, but that day we didn't. Should we have beaten Bama last year, maybe. But we still lost to the eventual National Champion. Those are the loses that you hate to see, but dont get down on.
My issue is, you literally are supposed to win that Ole Miss game 100 times out of 100. What happened there is unacceptable. There are no excuses that can be made about that and frankly, I understand the bitterness afterwards.

This is only partially correct. Truth is, unless you're going to go to the Drakside and start cheering for BAMA circa RIGHT frickING NOW, there has never been a program that has won as consistently as Tiger fans seem to NEED LSU to win before they'll get on board and stay there.
They are bitching about a program that only exists in their minds, and for the first time in really any era, in Tuscaloosa. If they can't have that, then there's nothing good.
Of course, that clearly means that there was never a good time to be an LSU fan, because if now (the past 13 years and the near future) has been unable to keep you happy, then there was nothing before then that could have done it.

I do all of this but the last one.
You seriously need to realize that all of that work you do is just for your own benefit. If you do something that pisses you off, why do it?

Its not so much loses that piss me off, its the manor in which they happen. I can deal with the UGA loss and will be fine with losing to Bama and possibly even A&M, but we have no fricking buisness losing to Ole Miss.
But the article isn't about being pissed about a bad loss, it is about those who are pissed more than they enjoy LSU football. It is asking the question; If LSU pisses you off more than you enjoy it, why would you continue to follow it?

No one's saying you're not a true fan. Did you actually read the article? Being a fan is supposed to bring you joy...which in turn can and always will bring heartbreak.

I am guessing there would be less fervor regarding the current state of the program if the coaches weren't paid as much as they are, and the season ticket holders didn't have to pay as much as they do to have season tickets.

Who suggested anyone enjoyed losing to anyone, let alone Ole Miss?

Agreed. And they did so long before titles were a regular part of the equation. Do you remember those days? I do. I have no interest in going back to them, but I jave to be honest and say that I do kind of miss that joy I got from seeing LSU in the Top 20 of my Sports Illustrated that would show up to my doorstep mid week after games and being stoked that LSU was there! I was a fan for, looking back at, were clearly purer reasons than many are now.

You seem to be under the assumption that others who are as passionate as you can not have any other viewpoint as to the state of the program that differs with yours. I'm sorry about that.
I can be eaten up by losses as much as you and STILL find joy in the state of the program. I'm actually really sorry you seem unable to do so, because I really do think you're missing out on the greatest time to be a Tiger Fan we've had.
