I would have preferred something like ole miss with a berm in the outfield rather than metal bleachers, but everything between the poles is A+
No it isn't, they need to chair back everything between the poles, and make the concourse go down the lines
Also MSU Ole Miss atmospheres on a regular SEC weekend >> LSU
LSU actual attendance is down and students barely go to games

Forgive me if I don't get upset that LSU didn't imitate fricking Moo state when building one of the finest college baseball stadiums in the land. Move to Starkville if attending a LSU baseball game is such a burden for you.
You could learn a lot from a dummy!

There is a definite crowd that says you "don't need to drink to have a good, time" and your 19 year old self would kick your arse.

I know huh? I hate pussies like that. It's a fricking sporting event, not church service. If someone wants to drink and enjoy the game then let them do it...i would be one of them without a doubt. If you dont like to drink and watch the game then don't do it. It's just that simple. The people that say crap like that are the same uptight fans that look at you all sideways when you're "cheering too loud". Pussies I tell ya.
I know, people are afraid to let the modern day era come around, the old farts saying this were either sheltered as kids or are being hypocrites when they were the same way when they were younger. People need to understand that times have changed and LSU attendance in baseball and everything else has declined drastically.

Miss States field is about to get remodeled. That is all going away. They will have pits inside the stadium but you have to reserve them. Their atmosphere will be gone as well. Construction starts this summer.

The new box is a complete missed opportunity...... and then you get an opportunity to sit in grandstand seats with stadium club access and the picture becomes crystal clear. If you understand LSUs goal with the new box, they knocked it out of the park!
It's clear that the reason behind rebuilding an entire baseball stadium was to spend as much time and attention on the seats that reside from the edge of the first base dugout to the edge of the third base dugout. There's maximum leg room. Easy access to amenities. Friendly staff. A hall of fame. A stadium club with a $20 buffet and plenty of other ways for the elite baseball fans to shower LSU with money. I guess they decided it was easier to focus on 2500 or so really rich people than to create an experience for 10000. From the dugouts on, the box is as stale, uncomfortable, and boring as any ball park in the country. From the dugouts in, however, that thing is the pinnacle of baseball stadiums.

Thanks....
Unless you cut a fat check and get a suite. Then, drink as much as you like!
Oh the hypocrisy...

Our stadium is already in need of updating. Alleva better start planning. Those bleachers are terrible

Good thing those Mississippi stadiums help those teams win championships
Oh wait...

We are missing out on so much fun and students would treat baseball like football if able to drink and cook.
Because it's not like you're able to, oh I don't know, tailgate right outside the stadium?
You make it sound like people have BBQ pits and ice chests inside Death Valley.

They tried way too damn hard to build a new version of the old Box.
Failed at that too. It's a nice park generally but there is no atmosphere. And it doesn't even look completed

Was at the LSU Arky series. Baum has an outfield berm which allows coolers and grills. It definitely adds to the event and is one of the reasons they put 11,850 people in the stands.
These things attract the younger crowd and push attendance. If it wasn't for them using sold tickets versus actual attendance, we might lose our "crown"
I love the Box but it needs changes to keep up and keep people attending and involved!!
