definitely a stroke of luck for Labor Day to fall exactly on Labor Day multiple years in a row.

I’m so tired of seeing this pussy shite on here. If you win, it sets an incredible tone for the season. If you lose, your P&G glasses come off early to what the season may actually look like. I’ll take this type of game every time over playing Alcorn St

I agree. The university of Missouri football team probably thinks highly of themselves after shutting out Murray State 51-0 last night.

Ri-ight. Why would you want to be the only game on television on a Sunday night against another traditional football power the day before a holiday when every football fan in the country is watching?

That isn’t luck. We’ve played on Sunday because Monday is a holiday.

Knowing how far out they schedule these games, this game was on the books during the Orgeron era and *maybe* as far back as Les Miles era.

These early big matchups are not a no-go for most coaches, but doing three in a row might be.

I’m betting we won’t see these every year after another year or two.

You can keep saying it, still doesn't change the fact that CFB on Sunday sucks.

It’s amazing if you look at lsu schedule in 1988 thire non conference games were Texas A&M, Miami and at Ohio State. That is hard to believe.

Why would we ever want to play the opening season game for 3 straight years on a Sunday night in addition to play a higher ranked team when the SEC schedule is already difficult enough? Whoever okays and agrees to this just needs to see the door.

His name is Verge and LSU is getting $6-8m to show up. ESPN is who to blame for this being Sunday night.

so this coming Sunday, you'd rather watch The News or something instead of the greatest sport in the world?
