I’m guessing the answer is Jordan Jefferson?

He’s grown much bigger since his days as a qb by the way lol

If the NCAA had its way, LSU would be forced to start a Make-a-Wish kid at D Line the whole game

No one, it’s like soccer we have to play 10 v 11 all game.

Or at least, that’s what most people on this board must think based on the panicked reaction around here.

Our D line is dominant. It won’t matter. We are beating FSU by at least 14

Their OL sucks

Absolutely. They are trying to figure out a way to suspend Nabers next.

Wingo was always Smith’s backup

Guillory is the other starting tackle.

False. Wingo & Smith are our 2 starters.
Wingo will take Smith’s spot & Guillory is Wingo’s backup

Are you saying that if Smith was playing vs. FSU Wingo would not be starting? And, presumably, once Smith returns to the line up Wingo will return to a backup role?

No offense, but I don't see a scenario where LSU will put a preseason All American in a "backup" role. Wingo may have started last season as a "backup" with Roy and Smith as the two starters. But I'm pretty confident in saying Wingo's play last year proved he is a starting DT on this team. He's not sliding to a "backup" role simply because Smith is back

The Wingo disrespect is getting out of hand. He was an all American last year, played more snaps than any other dlineman in college football, led the SEC interior dline in sacks. Maason may be talented but he hasn’t done much of anything on the field!

Before the suspension, “starting DT’s” were situational with primarily Guillory and Smith on run downs and Wingo and Smith on passing downs. It’s a big hit but House has had ample time to develop an alternate strategy.

I’m not disrespecting Wingo. I think he’s great. There was a depth chart released with Smith and Guillory as the two starting tackles and then Wingo behind Smith.

It’s DT so all of them will play plenty and I would say they are all three starters. I’m just pointing out that Smith is out and Wingo will take those snaps now.

Yeah, I don't see House utilizing his most accomplished DT as simply a "pass rush" specialist. Particularly when you see...

Yes, Smith has the physical traits NFL GMs/Coaches love. But Wingo is a proven commodity. He's not a backup. And he's not a pass-rush specialist. Unless someone proves otherwise this season he is LSU's best DT

Those depth charts were wrong. They were developed by fans. If LSU released a depth chart showing that then it was because they knew Wingo would not be starting. If Wingo is not our best interior DL then he is number two.

Lsu has yet to release a depth chart, any depth chart you’ve seen has been created by a fan, which means it wasn’t accurate. Wingo is the best D-lineman on this team. He’s a starter in all scenarios
