Coach e will call the plays. brady will learn the ins and outs of the lsu program then eventually in 2 years from now he will be the new OC.

I see it just the opposite. O trusts Ensminger

I think it's the opposite, Brady will be marginalized if things get dicey. Ensminger is the one that's earned the coach's trust, not Brady.

This is exactly how it will play out. It's set up to be a no lose situation for O. If Brady produces he was the right hire because O is a genius and knew it would work out. He gradually takes on more responsibility and becomes OC when E retires.
If Brady doesn't produce he gets slid back into obscurity and he was an experiment that didn't work out. O is again a genius for not giving him too much latitude by filtering everything through E. Either way E gets to retire with dignity at his discretion. Nobody is getting fired after this season. We will have too many wins. It's actually an intelligent plan and I'm sorry alot of people here can't see it for what it is

I don’t know if it was just a slip up or a Freudian slip but on Cody Worsham’s Podcast “Hey Fightin Podcast” Stephen Sullivan said “I trust coach Brady calling the plays.”

Well, it ultimately comes down to who O trusts calling plays. He's said that Ensminger will be calling plays and can take input from Brady to his liking. Maybe that means Brady is being groomed, but that is pure speculation at this point. For now it's Ensminger's offense with some input from Brady. Or at least that's what we've been told.

Even if this true, I see Brady calling plays before the season is up, simply because Steve won't care if he's doing it or not.

You dont have to be the OC to call plays. Carmichael in nola.

It really is a no lose situation for the coach. No matter how it works out, people will say "at least he's trying something different!"

I wonder how many more years he'll get out of exploiting that group of fans.

That "group of fans"' , which apparently includes you , doesn't sign contracts , & they don't have jackshit to do with hiring & firing. You must feel the world revolves around you & your brilliant insights huh ?
