Who’s better: Fromm or Ehlinger?

Fromm is predictably awful in big games. Texas, LSU, Alabama every time. Ehlinger had his issues too. I dunno. I think they’re about the same. Fromm is a pocket guy that is really calculated, ehlinger is that gunslinger that Texas fans love.

Fromm is the better QB but Ehlinger will be the tougher QB for LSU to defend.
I watched all of UT’s notable games last year. He’s better than the Rant thinks.

This is very wrong. 25/39 for 301 and 3 TD’s vs. Bama in the SEC championship game. Also, 3 TD’s against both Florida and Texas. Really awful.

Depends on the opponent. Ehlinger / T.E.X.A.S. wants this in the worst way and LSU is stupid.

Ehlinger is tougher to deal with because of his running and improvisation. You have to game plan for him, and he'll still make plays. You don't really have to game plan for Fromm, although he is probably a better passer and game manager than Ehlinger. You have to game plan for UGA's offense as a whole.

pure QB play it’s Fromm by a mile, he has a future in the NFL & Ehlinger doesn’t. As a college QB I still think Fromm is better but Ehlinger can close that gap a good bit because of how hard he runs

Fromm is a better passer (much better IMO), but Ehlinger can hurt you with the run. Keep him in the pocket, and collapse it around him. Secondary needs to blanket his targets. Frustrate him into mistakes.
