The Tigers’ yearly scheduling philosophy for their four nonconference opponents is to face one major conference team, two mid-major teams and an FCS opponent.

So this is going to be a yearly thing now? We will be playing an FCS team every god damned year?

Why did we reschedule with GA Southern? They are a pretty damn good small school team, and would have at least made a better challenge than whatever FCS cakewalk we do get.

Our OOC scheduling for this year and next is already dookie and they decide to weaken the 2017 one even more than it already is.

ETA: I'd love to have a crack at Okie st. I can't believe Les hasn't tried to bring this up yet. Maybe he has before, and I just don't remember. Could also have never been made public.

Pretty sure we owe Tulane a game in NOLA (which I am all for if it can be in the dome) and the administration doesn't want to sacrifice a home game.

Funny how the admins "sacrifice" a home game almost every year i.e. the B S kickoff classic rip off !

Maybe they had scheduling issues now that they're FBS

It's amazing to see how much money is spent for season tickets only to be treated to two mid majors and an fcs school many years.
