No, lazy is just opening the checkbook to someone who’s never won a big game and paying them on par with Saban and Kirby.

Maybe I would have hired Brian Kelly. But I dont get paid millions to make the right call or to avoid an idiotic contract with the wrong guy.

This is the dumbest question that people continue to ask on this board.

stabilize the program.

Is this what we currently have, a stable program? Starters being suspended for who knows what, 3 game losing skid, players/coaches yelling at each other on sideline, degradation of the program for the last 3 seasons. Thank you Coach Kelly for stabilizing our football program…

He was a nobody. And we would have hired him after we failed to land Kelly, Tomlin, and Franklin.

Next hire the fans won't melt if we hire a hotshot younger coach.

He isn't paid on par with Saban and Kirby, he's paid on par with people like Stoops, Kiffin, Riley, Norvell, etc

Especially when you consider CBK hired House, so Blake Baker went to Missouri and did well there. So well, that CBK hired him to fix the Defense that House made a mess.

Could have just left Blake Baker right where he was.

And Raymond, I don't even think Daronte Jones was bad. I think Kelly just wanted to start fresh and didn't really properly evaluate those guys.

When he signed the deal, he was paid more than Kirby. If he’d have won anything of note, he would have been restructured. Very disingenuous argument.

I was happy with the BGB hire in 2021 but maybe would have looked into those lazy and detached rumors.

When the 2022 season kicked off, BK was the 5th highest paid coach, he is now the 8th.

Not sure why folks bitch and moan about the salary, the problem is it's 90% guaranteed.

Kelly was a big name coach. He deserved the contract he got. Some things just dont work out.

None of them deserve a contract like that. Not a single one.
