First time checking in this thread. Read the last two pages only. Shockingly, it's the same lame-arse, tired arse, cry baby mfers doing wtf you do. Taking a shite on what at the moment, is one of the most encouraging, exciting offseasons in a long fkn time.

I'll be seeing my way out now. You clowns don't deserve a second more of my time.

It really isn't difficult to comprehend. I'm even using your own words.

It’s the most exciting preseason since LSU returned most of the defense, the starting quarterback and the nations rushing title winner. They were pre-season top 5.

We have to go all the way back to 2016 for that. Maybe all you “real” fans should stop acting Orgeron took over a dumpster fire.

Who cares about losses when we won the championship?

We made it through, we took the punches and we won the title.

Were we also lucky to get the #6 ranking in 2018?

No, so you can rest easy. Les will not be angry with you if you pull for the Tigers after he is gone. It's ok, let it go.

Team didn’t live up to the hype. Hopefully 2019 will be different. 10-3 doesn’t cut it when you’re preseason top 5.

“ outside of 2007”

The advent of the playoff system has diminished the importance of polls other than the playoff poll. Does that mean they have no importance? Of course not. I just don’t think they carry the weight that they once did, but certainly they can still be used as a measuring stick for success.

“We were lucky”

Nobody wins the west, the SEC, and a national championship because they’re lucky. They do it because they’re damn good.

I care a lot more that we won the SEC and a national championship in 2007 than I do about the two games we lost in 2007, but each to our own.

My expectation is to beat Bama and compete for a title, a thing that Les did.

There is no doubt that Miles ineptitude helped build Bama’s dynasty. If a deserving or qualified coach had taken over our program in the state Saban left us, no one could have overtaken it so easily.

You put a dunce in charge of an empire it will eventually fall. Thanks les.

There is zero guarantee that the coach you mentioned would have brought in the talent miles did.

No one is saying its crap,,,,just that we were lucky to be there at all.

The fact remains that LSU won its division and the conference championship. A team who plays in a premier conference and wins the conference championship game (especially the SEC), has an extremely good chance to make the NCG or playoffs (even with a loss or possibly 2).

LSU earned and deserved a spot in the NCG since they proved they were the best team in college football's toughest conference.

Last few years of LM tenure was not as good as O’s first few years sure but Les won championships and made several natty appearances while winning over 100 games. Gonna be tough to exceed that.
