My rank order for permanents would be:
Tier 1:
Ole Miss
Arkansas
Alabama

Then in order:
Auburn
Texas A&M
Florida

Do not care for:
Texas
Kentucky
Miss St
Tennessee
Arkansas
Georgia
Oklahoma
South Carolina
Mizzou
Vandy

Selfishly I am ok with it only because i live 35 minutes from Kyle Field so that game is super easy for me to go see the Tigers play because its close. And I can use a friend to get tickets through A&M so I never have issue with that.

However I hate the aggies and having to listen to them talk about when they do beat LSU so wouldnt be upset if they were not included in permanent opponents.

Yea apparently Auburn has won 9 national championships with 7 of them being awarded by Toys R Us and the other two actually legitimate. Didn’t think Auburn would ever do something gayer and more pathetic than Texas A&M

Not as a rival but as an SEC permanent opponent, sure.

Permanents............

Crimson Devils- (Alabama)

Massa Wife- (Ole Miss)

Pick 6 Plainsmen- ( Auburn)

Frick Texas Astroglide & Mechanical and all their nonsensical cultish BS. (Excluding their great Marching Band)

I don't know, the hate between LSU and A&M is pretty real. If that's not a rivalry, it's something.

It's called disgust.

Losing to Florida is painful because I hate them.

Losing to Aggy is painful because it's disgusting. It's embarrassing.

I'd prefer having Ole Miss, Bama, Florida, and /or Auburn.

Where do you people come from? LSU and A & M's rivalry goes back to 1899 and they've played each other over 60 times. LSU has played A & M more times than they've played Auburn, which was a non-existent rivalry until the SEC went to divisions in the 1990's. With that being said, I can't stand A & M, but would rather play them than some forced rivalry with Arkansas or Oklahoma.

I, like the horse, say nay.

I don't like that the conference has been trying to force the rivalry. I feel like at least one if not both teams tends to play like a dumpster fire. Lately it seems ATM has been the dumpster fire that we've decided to hop on in and burn with them. When's the last time that we beat them and it was considered a good, resume building win? Maybe that year Manziel won the Heisman? I don't remember them being particularly good as an overall team though.

None of that even takes into account all their weird traditions. Forcing us to be their "rival" feels like being stuck with the special needs kid that eats their boogers as a school project partner or something.

If we have to pick 3 permanent rivals I'd take any of these in no particular order: ole miss, mss st., auburn, Bama, uf. I guess arky too

5.Arkansas (day after Thanksgiving ) miss that game
6. Texas
7. Oklahoma
8.Texas A&M
9. Moo St
