Doug is 107 years old but still does a decent job on the color. Needs to be a former LSU coach or player with some media experience.

Possibilities:

Les Miles (ugh)
Gordy Rush
Ryan Clark

Booger or Spears would be great, but they're not giving up their ESPN gigs.

I can already hear his commentary in my head: "I couldn't quite see what happened on that play but I'm pretty sure Alabama [caught that ball/didn't commit a penalty/should be immediately named the National Champion]"

my god! can u imagine trying to decipher les miles color analysis?
"certainly, there was a want to matriculate the ball beyond the margins and borders of the offensive line's periphery. attained on that play was a very quality accumulation of ground acquisition on the back end of the play."

I hate listening to Doug Moreau on the broadcasts.

I could listen to Gordy, he's very knowledgable

Why tf would Ryan Clark leave ESPN to be a radio play by play announcer?

I think Alan Risher would be great in this role.
