Who remembers an old basketball game vs Auburn where LSU gave up 3 late 3s to lose?

Something like an 8 point lead inside of 30 seconds.

AU 3
Steal. AU 3
Steal. AU 3

LSU misses a last second shot and loses by 1.

If only a loss like that stood out. Unfortunately they have kind of run together.

Yeah. The recent loss to Ole Miss.

The epic collapse vs Kentucky at home after the 31 point lead.

It was just surreal in the AU game.

Steals followed by immediate 3s.

I remember something like that happening in the SEC Tournament in 2015 but I’m not sure if that’s what you’re talking about because I have blocked it out of my memory for the most part. Auburn always has some wacky bullshite go their way when we play them in every sport. I would love to run rule them in all 3 baseball games this year.

Was this late 90s at the PMAC when Auburn had Chris Porter?

If so, I was at that game with my dad. Remember it well.

In 2018, we lost handily @#19 AU, in 2019 we beat #21 AU in the PMAC.

Ah, yea. I remember it happening somewhere around then, but could be wrong. I actually remember it now...was a Saturday morning game in 2020.

Other than the 31 point lead in the 2nd half blown to lose to KY, my most favorite inconceivable loss was when Dale Brown, with two TO's in his pocket against Ga at home, LSU had the ball out of bounds with one second on the clock, and LSU lost in regulation time. That took some out of this world coaching talent.

We lost @AU in the 2019-2020 game in OT by 1 point, but the OT game flow was opposite, LSU was down 7 points in OT and made a comeback to take a one point lead.

Has to be the 2015 game where we were fighting for a better seed and lost to a bad Auburn team, Pearl’s first, in the SEC tourney. They had K.T. Harrell and made a run late to send it to OT then beat us.

The worst collapse in LSU basketball history was that Mardi Gras night debacle against Kentucky when it started raining threes.

That Ole Miss game the other night was pretty bad.

Is this the game lsu inbounded ball from under opponent goal and inbounds pass went to backcourt and out of bounds without anyone touching it? Resulting in opponent getting ball under their goal and scoring on inbounds to win. Don’t remember who we were playing but remember that happening.

I think Auburn's run came in regulation to force OT

You are close but thats not what happened. Tigers had a one point lead and the ball out of bounds under the Georgia basket with a second on the clock. Tiger All American John Williams thought the clock started when the ball was inbounded so he threw it into the back court where it rolled out of bounds without being touched. Georgia got the ball under their basket inbounded and scored to steal a win.

Not to end regulation like OP is saying.

LSU was up 7-8, but AU fought back methodically by 4-5 minutes remaining, nothing miraculous.
