It is a shame that his number hasn't been retired yet

Binks Miciotto and Ramsey DarDar.

Did you know the names of the two former LSU footballers provided the inspiration for Star Wars' awkward saurian creature Jar Jar Binks?

Close between Jets, Burrow, and honey badger. I would have to pick Jefferson. Though Ricky had a good career almost everyone assumed Jefferson was offered because of his last name. Nobody expected him to ever start much less become the most productive WR in the history of the NFL in his first three seasons. I think honey badger would tie him up if he ever became some kind of coach for us in the future.

For the longest time my cofavorites were Kevin Faulk and Josh reed. I like to remember the older heads that really balled out when I was a kid and left me with special memories but I have to say Jamaar Chase has definitely entered the conversation for me. Dude was a frickin nightmare for secondaries. So much fun to watch.

Wow! What a question since there's a ton of great Tigers. Joe Burreaux. But I could list probably twenty players easily.

Worst Star Wars character of all time. Single handily ruined the prequels.

Patrick Peterson, great player, student, and representative of LSU. Dude could lock down anyone, beat them more than he got beat.

Josh Reed will always be my number one. He’s the reason I fell in love with LSU football. Hester a very close second.

Kevin Faulk. He stopped the historical trend of elite LA recruits going out of state. Without him, I’m not sure that would’ve happened.

I was in TGBFTL from 93-96, so I know what terrible football and awful coaching look like. You can’t leave when you’re in the band and UF is drilling your team 58-3 at home.

The difference in the teams in 95 and 96 from what we had seen before was undeniable and Faulk was the key to it all. He changed the game for us, making it cool for LA kids to stay home and win at LSU again.

As great as Faulk was in his time here, his impact went far beyond his 4 seasons on the field and helped LSU become the giant in the sport it is today. That’s why he’s still my favorite out of all the greats before and after.

+1. The game in Tiger Stadium vs. Houston was incredible. He always made the first guy miss. Super back out of backfield and excellent runner and superb punt returner. He could do it all. New England Patriots prospered when he was in his prime. He had MVP skills. When game was on the line he delivered. His performance in 4th Qtr against the Cougars was unreal. He also was on cover of Sports Illustrated in 1997 after beating #1 Florida. See ya later gators! Awesome!
