phenomenal athlete who was recruited out of Allentown, PA by Coach "Shack" to wrestle at LSU. He also played football for Cholly Mac during this same time. 6'2" 250 lbs nose guard, 1978-79 ALL SEC , extremely quick with great leverage and was the team's leading tackler. He was also the SEC Hvywt Champion and SEC Wrestler of the year.
my fondest memories ... I was around 9-10 yrs old and my grandfather would take me to every LSU home game. He was a liquor salesman for Martin Wine Cellar who traded liquor to the Cusimano's for prime LSU tickets. We sat a few seats down from one of the older Cusimano's who enjoyed his fine spirits. LSU could be on offense or kicking the PAT, and the liquored up old man would scream … "Get'em George" a dozens times each game.
Certain childhood memories about LSU football you never forget.

Atiyeh wasn’t much of a pass rusher, but a darn good DT/NG

Laron Landry was the most devastating. Him hitting the quarterback helped start modern day DBU.
Hard to imagine how many times he would have been flagged or ejected from games these days.

For us old timers, Michael Brooks was a bad man.

I dont know if you classify him as a pass rusher aficionado or not but Michael Brockers was one of my all time favorite big DL guys. He is definitely way under apreciated.

Love Big 88, but watching K Chaisson was fun

Arden’s 2016 season was the best I’ve seen. He looked like a man amongst boys that season and looked effortless. I thought he was going to be a top 5 pick easily.

My favorite & also the best, Arden Key
I fluctuate between Key and Mingo. Mingo was so fast

People look too much at 2017 for key after his off the field issues. 2016 key was a monster though. I thought he was going to really do something special in 2017.

Booger McFarlen. I still remember when he broke that FL qbs leg when he tackled him.
