Jays face during that at bat made me chuckle. He's ready for him to be gone.

An available player after the draft and after we struck out on a bunch of other guys.

Yeah that's cool. This is the guy paid to make the right decisions, which he hasn't this season.

Jay doesn't need to be on camera smirking or grimacing like an arse

Because Jay made a mistake. By his own admission we missed in the portal this year.

He had a high average and walked more than he struck out. It’s not like he was some scrub, he did good things at a small school. It just didn’t translate.

He looked like the Bambino against the pitching it whatever league Grand Canyon is in. In the SEC, he is just shaped like the Bambino.

This was the reason. And his average didn’t dip when he faced better teams in non-conference and postseason, either.

But it seems like he showed up here looking to become a better power hitter and it just didn’t work at all. He should have swung the bat better in the early season vs that level of competition based on 3 years of results, but he didn’t even excel here then. That tells me he was trying to change something. And maybe that was Jay’s pitch to him.

Whatever happened, it obviously didn’t work. He should have at least been good early and we didn’t even get that.

Look man season is over. Even if he had a better season we still lose because of bad pitching. Our pitching this year was awful.

I’m sure he is disappointed in his season. But he is a better baseball player than anyone on this board so move on.

Piling on a kid is bush league.
