Disagree on Marshall. I can recount at least 2 drops by him so far. When your not targeted a lot and finally get thrown to, you have to make the play. And that goes for the rest of the receivers also

I'm not sure how you can think we didn't let it fly against Auburn this past weekend. Just because we didn't throw an INT doesn't mean Burrow definitely took some big time chances downfield.

You certainly cant call the passing game conservative after what we just saw. This didn't look like last year with Etling making mostly safe throws. Burrow was fitting some passes into very tight windows. Had he been a little off or slow on a few them, he would have had a few picks just like Stidham.

I meant over the course of the season. That was one game in the right direction. Just dont undertand why people would rather have 16tds/0ints to say 40tds/6ints.

I think what was being pointed out is despite the fact we are being more aggressive throwing the ball, Burrow still hasn't thrown an interception, which is a big time plus. You dont WANT to throw picks.

We have a lot of talent at the position.

But man, Justin Jefferson has been a real surprise. Dude is real good.

Where’s all the people that laughed when it was said he’d be starting and was looking like one of the better WRs in camp? And because his last name is Jefferson?

I think that so far Jefferson has been the most consistent.
I also think that they are still identifying strengths, and how to use the receivers.
To me, Giles should always be in the slot. That's where he will be useful.
Sullivan, Jefferson,Anderson, Chase, Marshall are out wide. The height advantage is better utilized outside.
I couldn't believe the ball down the side line to Giles. Going up for a fifty fifty....not his thing.
Personally....I put Jefferson in the slot, Sullivan and Chase out wide in three wide. Add Dillon in four wide sets.

Gotta go with Jefferson, too.
Chase has shown some flashes of potential greatness, too.
I am surprised we haven't seen McMath.
Would like to see Moreau used more, but that will come as the OL improves.

It’s a big step up from high school football to the college level...as a receiver you do alot more than just run routes....you have to know your assignments, run precise routes, and learn to block at the line and downfield...you can’t have any hesitation on your part or you will be sitting on the bench until you do get it... LSU’s younger receivers are going to make the transition as well as Giles....give them time to make the transition and gain the needed confidence to play to the speed of the college game....

Jefferson is the go to guy... hands down...

Ive been impressed with Dee Anderson, physical guy

Jamar Chase has been physical... really like him...

Sullivan I think should have at least 5 playes thrown to him... all jump balls in the endzone...

Dillion Showed that he should be the return guy 100%

Havent seen much of marshall, but what i have seen he looks good...

Giles, benefitted from that TT offense and week arse DB's in the Big 12... he is not what we thought he was... i hope to be proven wrong soon... no seperation in his routes and no physicallity after he catches it...

Dont really care about TE's catching passed because our best pass catching TE is out... Pettigrew...

Jefferson is the best route runner hints to why he’s always open, Dee Anderson probably has the best hands out of all the receivers, Sullivan is a freak I think he can be dominant with more plays and being more consistent, Giles is to stay in the slot and they need to design more screens and slants for him, Chase has the most potential out of all of them he has size, speed, and great hands, Marshall is dropping a lot of passes I didn’t think this would’ve been an issue for him

Best is Jefferson, and he will be his entire time at LSU.

With more chemistry with Burrow he's going to be huge down the stretch. Expect two 1000 yard seasons and then declaring for the draft.

Dillon reminded us "Hey, I am still here"

Dillon has break away speed and we need him for plays like he did Saturday to keep the defense honest. I think Jefferson is very solid. I think Sullivan and Anderson could be clutch receivers. Then mix in some Giles , Marshall and Chase to really keep the defense off balance.

I like jefferson but he’s also gotten more than 2x as many targets as anyone else on the team.

He earned his spot as the #1 guy but it helps your stat line when you’re read 1.

I think Jefferson, Chase, Anderson and sullivan look like our best 4.

Jefferson seems to be the only one that can get open. So jefferson number 1 right now.
