I'm driving over from Cleveland on Friday afternoon with another LSU alum. Looking forward to seeing the Tigers and visiting Syracuse for the first time. (Already looking forward to next year at Lambeau Field!)

My wife and I lived in Rome,NY for a year and she got a job at Turning Stone in their purchasing dept. Place is pretty nice with a couple of quality golf courses.

I imagine LSU fans will be taking over several drinking establishments Friday night. I'm hoping to fit Dino in ASAP but if it's too crazy Friday I may circle back on Saturday.

Dinosaur BBQ the place is amazing. I was stationed at FT Drum for a few years and always loved going down to Cuse. Unfortunately I'll be offshore for this one!

What is your take of the Carrier Dome? I get the feeling that it is a run-down shithole and that our fans are going to be shocked at how pitiful it is.

I love going to the dome for football or basketball (preferable). There is no ac, but its one of the few universities that sells beer during games. The lower and upper levels have great views plus theres some banners about jim brown being the greatest player ever

What's the best time to hit up Dino? I'm guessing seating is at a premium on a Friday night, what do you think is the best approach here? Just plan on waiting a while?
I don't even need a table, usually prefer to eat at the bar if there's a crowd.
