t’s basically the same thing a WR would do with a little more blocking. He’d basically be a big slot WR. It’s fine
He's not big enough to be a tight end and if you make him bigger, you are only going to slow him down and make him less effective of a receiver. He is excellent exactly like he is. Don't touch him.

Can Arik Gilbert play WR?

Gilbert is a more credible WR / TE hybrid than Bech.
Pump the breaks on Bech, he has promise, but the is a true Fr.

I mean he is well on his way if thats what they want

Actually he is a whiter and slightly bigger Jamar Chase. He's perfect like he is. Let's not screw him up. He's great at the 50/50 jump balls because he wins most of them and he is also great after the catch. The guy will be a stud.

I agree. Bech needs to stay at wr. At least start him out wide at practice and go from there.

He’s at least 15lbs more than chase just weighed at the combine, which was 201

I wouldn’t be surprised if it isn’t one of the freshmen.
Nabors or Bech

Gilbert will be #1. He’s a generational talent.

Either Arik Gilbert or Kayshon Boutte

Or Trey Quinn wouldnt get drafted
Never said that but where is he now? Chark is a pro bowl wr
Remember when I said boutte would be the best wr on the team as a sophomore and AA candidate before he ever played a college game?

If Trey Palmer could improve his catching ability he would be an amazing asset and weapon for the offense. I think he can be great once the ball is in his hand just needs to get better at catching it

It will likely be Jenkins, with Koy Moore a close third. In fact, I expect Koy to have more catches and less yards and TDs.

Jack Bech becomes more of a threat than Kole Taylor the first time they step foot on the practice filed
Sure, as a receiver. He’s not threatening anybody as a blocking TE, which is half the reason we have TEs. If they didn’t care about that they’d just start another WR.

And you think Taylor is lol

No clear #2, IMO. Jaray and Jontre will get a ton of touches.

Before you crawfish, I'd like to point out to the board that your comment suggests that you think Bech will be a better blocker next year than Cole Taylor.
Thats interesting AF
