I believe Bama will favor stopping our run game very heavily, if we run tons of play action passes i feel etling will find plenty of open spaces down field to fit the ball

This will then cause the defense to start second guessing itself leading to open gaps for running

Only if the O-line plays the game of their lives.

I doubt it.

There's a man that wears No. 7 that I want to see have a career game.

If Danny can throw for175-200 and protect the ball. We will score at least 30. That will be enough to win.

At least half of their entire defense will be staring at fournette every time he's on the field, and their players are plenty quick enough to fill the gaps on the line as quick as they appear

If the offensive line gives him time, I could see him having a good game. He's a gamer when the pressure is on.

Given bama's D and our average O line, I'd say that Danny Etling may not make the whole game. Maybe Brandon Harris can redeem his career.

I'm thinking the exact opposite. I.think if Etling gets out of that game without an injury, we'll have lucked out.
Passrush will be nasty and unlike anything he has experienced so far. Hopefully the O-line comes to play.

Well, that would be nice. I think our best chance to beat them now is that Les Miles is not the coach. I know that some will say that we had them beat in '14 which is true, but was it not the mark of Miles's teams of late to snatch defeat from the jaws of victory.

I really do not know what to expect except that LSU will probably commit fewer self-inflicted wounds such as personal fouls etc. Because of what has happened the last 4 years, I have difficulty believing they can beat the Tide. I think they really can, but only if the offense has a fairly strong pulse, otherwise it is a real crap shoot.

Bama can be thrown on. Ensminger may be the most pivotal person in this entire game.

He throws soft and Bama has a lot of make up speed in the defensive backfield. I am a huge Etling fan but I am concerned.

There was a similar thread last year before the Bama game claiming Harris will have his career game against Bama... well

Considering he's a transfer and according to many if we needed him we would be in deep shite...

A 180yds 1-TD 0-INT game where he runs for 2 first downs (3rd down) in a WIN...

That IS a career game. At least career defining.

If you re-watch last year's Alabama game (I don't know why you would), you'll notice that Alabama hardly stacked the line. They pretty much dominated our offensive line with just the defensive line and a couple of linebackers.

It was quite embarrassing for the offensive line.

He has done nothing to make me think this will happen. Not suggesting he'll play poorly but dude needs to be focused solely on doing what's asked of him and not committing unforced errors. He's not gonna be the guy to win this game for us but he can absolutely be the one who loses it.

bama has played some pretty terrible offensive lines. in the SEC, Tennessee and Arkansas are 2nd and 3rd to last in sacks allowed.

texas am starts two true freshman and a sophomore in the center of their line. the freshman guard and freshman center were both 3 stars outside the top 1000.

our line SHOULD be the best theyve faced. keep in mind that only 2 starters from last years bama defense are back. 6 of the front 7 are gone.

so forget last year. Fournette and Guice should have lanes, and Etling should have time.

ole miss threw for 421. Ark threw for 400.

its entirely possible we've already faced the best defense we'll see all year in Wisconsin.
