Who else hates the in-game interviews?

Players or coaches… I can’t stand it. I hit mute immediately. If not cringe worthy, at minimum it is a complete waste of time.

Post game interviews are just as bad if not worse

They are dumb and pointless

I mean it doesn’t matter if it’s players or coaches, they both suck.

I hate them… but for different reason than you’re stating.
Coaches shouldn’t have to give interviews while a game is underway whether his team is pitching or batting.
Starting pitchers who won the previous day and aren’t coming back out… ehh , I’ll allow it

I wish they'd stop it forever, but on the bright side, the guys this weekend have at least kept it short and sweet. None of that BS of talking through an entire side of an inning.

I thoroughly enjoy in game interviews. Thought everyone else did too

I was just bitching to my wife about this

I don’t mind them right before the inning starts

Some of y’all will manufacture hatred over anything
You’re in the same group as crazy liberals who wake up each morning and say “what am I going to be offended about today?”

I wouldn't mind a quick specific insight into the game. But don't need to hear any bs about how well a player has performed for the year.

My favorite novel character of all time. Lonesome Dove - rewatched it a couple years ago - still great.
Thanks for the memory.

oh - btw - I hate those interviews too -

I think it is so unprofessional.
Often times the coaches just want to get out of them as quickly as possible. It's all so forced.

Not really.
Do you mean on the field? Even those aren't so bad. I love seeing Jay Johnson interviewed on the SEC Network.

Make sure to read it if you haven’t. There are prequels and related novels, as well if you’re looking for more.

I don’t mind hearing the interview.
When they put up the split screen, someone deserves to lose their job or their dog runaway There’s no reason anyone needs to see the interview while the game is being played.

I've read 'em all - none as good as original Lonesome Dove, but did give some background on the characters.
