Hadn’t thought of this. Well done.

Davis was a better back than his stats probably indicate IMO.

He's a combination of equal parts Guice, Fournette, Dalton Hilliard, Barry Sanders, Emmit Smith, and Ladainian Tomlinson with calves bigger than Keiland Williams'.

OK. Lots of you say Hilliard, so I just went back and watched 52 minutes of Dalton’s highlights:

Dalton was my first favorite LSU player. I was in 5th grade when he was a Freshman.

I’d be thrilled if Durham matched his production, and maybe I am blind, but I don’t see the waggle, hip movement, that Dalton had. They look like different running styles and body shapes to me.

What specifically looks like Dalton to y’all in Durham’s running style?

This is the one. I couldn't pinpoint it during the game but tacklers slip off his legs the same way they did on DD. Durham's top end speed is on another level though. Excited to see more.

yep he is a DOMANICK DAVIS clone. legs keep driving and pumping gaining yards. double D could run it and catch it. had more speed and strength than you thought also. had a few jukes also. very durable.

Want to say hellaire, ford,….. low driver. But haven’t seen someone shed tacklers without moves. He didn’t dance, but shed basic move tackles.

Still like z Thomas and or Johnson getting a couple carries a game. Keep d guessing.

NOTHING. people are spitballing. so many runners have different traits or combos. speed, power, moves/jukes, vision. quick cuts, hands and route running ability, blocking ability.

dalton had power and moves but no breakaway speed.

A slightly slower Guice. That’s not a bad thing!
