I know it is officially "off season"...but, is it THAT 'off season' yet?

Bill Busch might get a big promotion.

Charlie Strong would be a great DC addition

If Dave leaves at this point, it would probably mean a significant salary cut for him. I don't see it happening.

Screw that. Promoting from within his not a good idea for every freaking coordinator opening we have

"We" aren't in charge of the list of candidates. So, it is still a bit too "off season" for me.

Baylor pays their head coach way more than 2.5 million. Mulkey the basketball coach probably makes close to that.

no inside information, but this makes too much sense -- even though he could wait a year and pick from a few west coast jobs

The same could have been said for Kiffin. He was only making 1 million per at FAU. LSU was prepared to pay him 1.5 per but he chose the HC position instead. Some guys look at it as a progression in their career to lead to bigger things and believing in ones self to do great things.

Heacock is good, but good big 12 speaking. Maybe he does better and different with some elite talent like LSU has, but they drive me crazy with the 3 man rush in pivotal moments.

Rent Jim Leonard for 2 or 3 years.

We’ll need to convince him that LSU DC on the resume is better than a mid major HC.

After watching some of the coaches room rebroadcast I kinda wish Derek Mason was available as a DC. O is probably gonna talk to Wade Philips

We just paid a DC $2.5 million to coach here and pump out unreal NFL defensive talent.

We can get basically anyone we want.
