Bech’s best friend is going to be the starting QB sooner or later. Kid ain’t leaving. He will be Walkers #1 target when the time comes

I'm not sure why this is considered a certainty by many in our fan base. Sure he might leave but the kid has never done anything to support this claim.
Its just a result of everyone's infatuation with the backup QB that hasn't shown they have flaws yet. It happened when everyone crowned Anthony Jennings after his Arkansas win, it happened again with Brandon Harris after Jennings sucked, then again with Etling, then people wanted Etling benched for Myles, then we got Burrow and that was awesome, but then Myles played and got hurt so we got TJ and people wanted to see Max, then Max beat Florida with lousy stats so he was crowned king...Until we saw him play more, then it was time for the Nuss Bus which broke down after he had a bad game as a backup, which brings us to Howard who will now hold the UNREAL expectations of our fanbase despite never throwing a meaningful pass in his college career.
The point? Stop trying to annoint the next guy before we see them play. For all we know, Howard could be a bust. I don't think he will be but its not a sure thing that he plays well in college. Nuss could also turn out to be who we thought he was when we recruited him despite having a bad game vs southern. Or he could flop. Lets just wait and see.

I could see bech leaving. The way we use Taylor just doesn’t really benefit him.

Several months ago, I had a former player…LSU & NFL… tell me that the thing fans will need to get used to is that every year, the best player on his team will be in the transfer portal.
I guess we’ll see.

Probably didn't word this the best...nuss will transfer, walker is the next man up after jayden when he decides to move on
