Who cares if WW coaches again this season....

Smart is who we really need back to make a run.
Let WW handle his business, get cleared, and come back for next year.
Imagine this team when Smart comes back, and the anger/intensity they will all play with, regardless of who the coach is the rest of the year.
Would be epic.

I absolutely care if he does. You’re underestimating Wade’s coaching ability. But I agree with you on some of this.

College basketball is possibly the team sport where the coach matters more than any other. These guys have been molded for an entire season and are peaking right now. Hopefully they can band together and push thru, but it will be tough.

So in your opinion, benford will make at least as good of calls as wade in these last minute nailbiters we play almost every game? Because in case you havent noticed, wade has a really solid track record in those moments

Think benford is gonna draw up inbounds plays to beat the tennessee’s and kentuckys of the world? Will he be savvy enough to change our defensive strategy in the last possession if needed? Will he call a timeout after a made bucket with 5 seconds left to gve us a 1 point lead?

We're all about to see the battle of "X's and os" vs "Jimmy and Joe's" play out. Sure Wade has done the hard work already by assembling this team and getting them going.. but I'm going to guess the postseason is going to end much more prematurely than any of us expected without him at the helm.
